We had a great break in our campervan over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend at Tallington Lakes in Lincolnshire, and although it rained solidly pretty much the whole time we were there, we met up with my family who live in that area. Living a fair distance away from my sisters and brother we don't get to meet up as much as I would like these days.
The little ones (my niece and nephews) thought the camper van was great fun, and although I worried that would be bored cooped up in a confined space, they were all actually very well behaved, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves - it was a novelty to them.
We didn't let the wet bank holiday weather ruin the barbeque, we have a canopy outside our van so we were protected mostly from the awful rain, and the heater was on inside so we were cosy if we wanted to be.
Look at the sweet little monkeys - like butter wouldn't melt !!
