Design wall...

I have finally made myself a lovely design wall which is a very simple concept using table top protector felt bought per metre,  which has a rubber backing that I have just staple gunned to the wall.  Not the prettiest of looks with the staples, but really the quickest and easiest I could achieve without hubby help !!!  (I wanted it now .... LOL)  It is not quite as large as I would have liked, but then again I do most of my piecing at home (although I don't have a design wall there either)

The work in progress on the design wall has been "in progress" for about 4 months....  I just can't seem to find the time to get it finished.  Maybe this weekend - it is such a small quilt and it really didn't take that long to get to that stage, so hopefully not much longer to get to the quilting stage.  It is just a design that is evolving at the moment froma fat eighths set by moda.

Photographs always show up the mess don't they?  I mean my shelves and desk could do with a bit of tidying.....  maybe tomorrow.....

I have more left as I bought 4.5 metres, so will probably put another one up too.   It certainly brightens up a very plain walL.

Thanks Kath, that quilt will finally get finished one of these days... and fabric sticks pretty well to that felt.
